”Forgotten Voices” is a documentary film that tells the powerful and painful stories of persons who were displaced from their homes due to ongoing war and conflicts in Sudan.
The film offers an intense inside view into one of the internationally forgotten conflicts of today. Through personal interviews and real-life footage, the film reveals testimonies of war, the recalling of the hopes of the 2019 revolution, and the daily challenges of being displaced, often several times over. It speaks of losing home, adjusting in new places and countries, and maintaining deep connection to one’s roots and culture.
Forgotten Voices is bringing invisible stories back to life, reminding the world that the impacts of war reach far beyond the battlefield. Thank you.
